Squier Mike Dirnt P Bass Black
Mike Dirnt of the band Green Day fame is a bass player who has no frills or gimmicks, he simply bashes away at those punk bass lines with an energy and grit that makes you wanna move. Obviously Mr Dirnt need a bass that will withstand this type of punishment, and as part of Squiers new signature series bass range this is what you get. The Mike Dirnt Signature series is a straight to the point bass with a single split-coil Precision bass pickup, one volume control and one tone.
This Squier bass is based on an early 50’s precision bass featuring ‘51 Headstock Shape, ‘51 Slab Style Body Top with Sharp Radius, ‘51 Style Control Plate, ‘55 Style Front Arm Contour and a ‘55 Style Pickguard Shape. The body has a star graphic and white dot inlays on the fretboard which looks very cool against the rosewood. The jack socket is mounted on the side and you have knurled tone and volume knobs, all hardware is chrome which completes the look of this bass.
