The Ashdown bass amplifiers and speakers have been endorsed by ex-Level 42 bassistMark King amongst others, this cabinet has been precision tuned to match the ABM 500 EVO Anniversary head and my initial concern was that it therefore may be unsuitable when using a different amplifier.

However my fears were unfounded and the cabinet sounded fine with both a Trace Elliott and Peavey bass amplifier. It pretty much delivers everything you require from a bass guitar speaker enclosure, clean punchy bottom end with a hint of twang in the top end frequencies to stop it from sounding muddy.

You might want to pay a mate to come and roadie for you though, as it is a bit of a beast when it comes to transporting the Bentley around, but all in all a very good product.
