Ashdown have slowly but surely built themselves a credible reputation as the manufacturers of high quality amplification and speaker enclosures. The product presented here is the entry level speaker enclosure from the Ashdown MAG series.
The MAG 115 is a bass speaker cabinet that has been built extra-deep to capture transient bass frequencies and loaded with a 15", 250 Watt Ashdown Blue Line speaker that provides exceptional attack, clarity, and low end.
Externally the cabinet utilises a tough black carpet exterior and on the front of the cabinet a steel speaker grille adds protection and a professional look. At each side of the cabinet are recessed handles which makes the MAG 115 easy to move around.
Ashdown BlueLine speakers achieve a good balance of power, transparency, and deep, controlled low end without sacrificing any of the mid-band attack and high-end brightness that are so important in modern bass sound.
