Laney RB4 165 Watt Bass Combo
This is a no frills, no nonsense 165 watt bass combo featuring a 15" custom Celestion speaker, bass, treble and 7 band graphic, switch-able compressor and limiter in a solid cabinet with top and side handles. Exactly what you need for your gigging, recording or just making a noise in your garage!
Flexible EQ , Enhancer & Compressor
The front panels starts with 2 jack inputs, normal and high- high output active basses should go into the high input. Gain control to adjust input gain before clipping. The switch-able compressor evens out playing volume making your sound punchier and prevents distortion with 2 green LED indicators showing you when its turned on and when its active. The enhancer provides increased definition of the bottom and top end with some clever harmonic control. There are general bass and treble EQ controls and also a 7 band graphic EQ which covers the 40Hz -6 KHz region allowing for fine tuning of your sound.
Fx loop and tuner out.
Fx send and return sockets allow you to plug in any pedals you fancy. The tuner output on the rear allows you to leave a tuner permanently plugged in for easy stage tuning. It weighs 25.25 kg and its dimensions are 578 x 505 x 335mm.
DI and External speakers
The unit features a balanced DI XLR output to plug the pre EQ sound into the PA, desk or other combo’s. The rear external speaker jack output means you can plug the amp into another 8 ohm or above speaker cabinet for more volume for example the RB115 or RB410 and during this operation the internal speaker remains connected.
